Ms. Schildwachter's Class 

Hi! My name is Joanna Schildwachter, and I am new to Deerpark Middle School. I have taught in Killeen ISD for four years and then moved to Austin ISD for one year. I am starting my sixth year at Deerpark, and I'm so excited!

In my classroom, students will be encouraged to give 100% effort in all things. My desire is that all students feel safe, comfortable and successful all year long. It is important for my students and I to establish clear expectations so that we can create an environment conducive to learning.
